The Fabric Shrinkage Machine, also known as ISO Washing Machine or fabric Shrinkage Machine, is used to test the size stability of fabrics, clothing, and other textiles after washing.
Application:
The Automatic Fabric Shrinkage Machine XD-C22, also known as the Fabric Shrinkage Washing Machine XD-C22, is specifically designed for conducting shrinkage tests by evaluating the dimensional stability of fabrics, garments, and textiles after washing. This advanced machine is ideal for textile enterprises, quality control departments, commercial inspection agencies, and research institutions to carry out shrinkage and relaxation testing on materials such as cotton, wool, silk, linen, and synthetic fibers.
Features:
1. The Fabric Shrinkage Machine offers versatile and advanced washing programs, featuring 16 standard “automatic washing programs,” 8 customizable options, and separate manual control programs, catering to a wide range of testing needs.
2. Built for durability and professionalism, its mechanical systems are custom-designed by expert washing machine manufacturers, ensuring high quality and reliable performance for extended, intensive use.
3. With precise water level control and high-speed spinning, the machine utilizes a high-precision contact rod controller and a renowned vector frequency conversion motor for efficient operation and superior dehydration capabilities.
4. Equipped with robust vibration resistance, the washing cylinder is supported by a high-performance damper that minimizes vibrations and stabilizes the machine during operation. Unlike traditional machines, it does not require foot bolts, allowing flexibility for relocation and use in various settings.
5. Constructed for long-term reliability, the main machine features an inner and outer cylinder made of premium stainless steel. The corrosion-resistant, smooth, and sleek design ensures a high-grade, visually appealing appearance.
6. User-friendly operation is facilitated through an LCD display, which provides clear procedure instructions and a menu mode for intuitive control.

Precautions for Operating the Automatic Fabric Shrinkage Tester
1. Adhere to Parameter Limits: Always set the parameters within the specified ranges. Exceeding the specified limits will invalidate the settings. For water levels, only set to 10 cm or 13 cm. Any other values are invalid. The water temperature must remain within the normal range, from the operating temperature up to 99°C. Any temperature outside this range is invalid. When setting the washing, rinsing, and cooling times, ensure the time is between 0 and 99 minutes.
2. Ensure Stable Setup: Place the fabric shrinkage machine on a smooth, solid surface to prevent tilting, ensuring proper operation.
3. Secure Inlet Pipe: Ensure the inlet pipe is securely fastened to prevent water leakage, which could damage the electrical components.
4. Regular Maintenance: Frequently remove fabric fibers from the filter to prevent blockages in the drainage pipe.
5. Safety Warning: Never open the front glass door while the machine is in operation, or when there is water in the barrel. This will help prevent leaks and burns.
Test Procedure for Dimensional Stability of Textiles
A complete test procedure involves both a washing and drying process. Based on the type of fiber and fabric, the washing can be divided into household and commercial washing. In general, fabrics are washed according to the home washing procedure. The typical test steps are as follows:
1. Prepare the specimen according to the relevant standard, marking it to indicate the length and width directions.
2. Set up the automatic shrinkage washer or fabric shrinkage test machine and drying equipment, then choose the appropriate fabric shrinkage test methods (e.g., AATCC 135, ISO 5077, ISO 6330).
3. Pre-condition the specimen, begin the test, and then calculate the dimensional changes after completion.
Factors Influencing Washing Dimensional Stability Tests
Several factors impact fabric shrinkage during washing, including water temperature, washing time, agitation intensity, and drying method. The key influencing factors are:
1. Water Temperature: Higher temperatures lead to greater fabric shrinkage.
2. Washing Time: Longer washing durations result in increased fabric shrinkage.
3. Agitation Speed: Higher rotational speeds during washing cause more shrinkage.
Among drying methods, tumble drying results in the most significant shrinkage, while flat pressing leads to the least shrinkage.
