Why Choose the Tensile Tester
Compliance with Standards
All data generated by the tensile tester adheres to established standard parameters.
Alignment with International Laboratories
The test results are comparable to those obtained from reputable international third-party laboratories, ensuring credibility.
Exceptional Repeatability
When using the same set of samples and tensile testing machine, repeated tests yield consistent results, demonstrating the machine's reliability.
Outstanding Reproducibility
Whether using the same samples or different machines of the same model, multiple tensile strength tests produce consistent results, ensuring reliability across various setups.
Extended Service Life
Prior to mass production, all tensile machines undergo rigorous prototyping and must pass a strict Reliability Test. This testing simulates challenging conditions, including extreme temperatures, high speeds, and heavy loads, to guarantee a long service life.
User-Friendly Warranty Policy
Our textile testing machines come with a 14-month warranty (12 months standard warranty plus an additional 2 months for shipping). Spare parts are covered with a 3-month warranty.
Comprehensive Life-Cycle Support
We offer full life-cycle support for our universal tensile testing machines. Our service team is readily available to address any inquiries or concerns you may have.
Standards Compliance
Choose a universal tensile testing machine based on the standards relevant to your region. Different areas adhere to various standards: European customers typically follow the ISO system, while American customers recognize AATCC and ASTM standards, and Japanese customers lean towards the JIS system. Manufacturers usually provide information on applicable standards in the product manual, and you can consult them for further details.
Tension Range Considerations
The maximum tensile strength of the material will determine both the sensor size and the design of the tensile testing machine. For most textile applications, a maximum tension of 200N is often sufficient, allowing for the use of a single-column tension machine. For example, the ASTRAND universal tensile machine offers a maximum tension of 2500N for greater versatility. If your testing needs exceed 5000N, a double-column model is recommended.
Determining the Maximum Stroke
The maximum stroke required is calculated by adding the distance between the upper and lower fixtures (test stroke) to the heights of both fixtures and the sensor. Different materials will necessitate specific fixtures, so it’s crucial to identify the appropriate test stroke for your needs. Typically, a stroke of 600-800mm is suitable for general textile testing. For materials that elongate over 1000%, consider using a stroke of 1000 or 1200mm.
