Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester XD-B18
Application of Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester:
The Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester, commonly referred to as the Martindale Tester, is designed to evaluate the abrasion and pilling resistance of various textile structures. During testing, samples are subjected to rubbing against abrasive surfaces under low pressure while the direction of movement continuously changes. The results are then compared to standardized parameters to determine the degree of wear or pilling, a process known as the Martindale Rub Test.
This versatile instrument is suitable for testing a wide range of materials, including textiles, socks, leather, coated upholstery, carpets, wood, and shirt collars.
The Martindale Tester is available in four models, offering configurations with 4, 5, or 9 abrading tables to meet diverse testing requirements.
Under the specified pressure, the circular sample is rubbed with the same fabric or wool fabric abrasive fabric in the trajectory of Lissajous figure for a certain number of times, and then the abrasion resistance and pilling performance of the sample are checked.
1. Test Standard: Based on the Lissajous figure.
2. Working Positions: Options available for 4, 5, or 9 positions.
3. Counting Method: Supports both *count-up* and *count-down* modes.
4. Innovative Design: Allows individual sample holders to be removed for inspection without the need to lift the top motion plate.
5. Sample Holders: Includes standard holders with 9 kPa and 12 kPa weights.
6. User Interface: Features a PLC-controlled 7-inch color touchscreen with dual-language support (Chinese and English).
7. High-Quality Materials: Weights and key components are constructed from stainless steel for exceptional durability and precision.
8. Enhanced Stability: The top motion plate is crafted from 316 aluminum alloy to prevent distortion, ensuring long-term reliability.

Random Tumble Pilling Tester XD-B14
Application:
The Random Tumble Pilling Tester creates a controlled random tumble environment to evaluate the pilling and fuzzing performance of textile fabrics.
This tester features stainless steel impellers rotating within individually illuminated aluminum chambers, where test fabrics are continuously tumbled against cork liners. The testing duration is managed by a built-in timer with an audible alarm for precision.
Compressed air is injected into each chamber to enhance the tumbling action. The device is available with 2 or 4 pilling test chambers and requires a laboratory-standard compressed air supply for operation.
Working principle:
In order to imitate the friction effect in wearing, the sample and a small amount of gray short cotton fibers were added to the cylindrical test box and cork liner and rubbed against each other. The test results were compared with the standard samples and rated subjectively. Check the pilling condition on the surface of the sample to evaluate the pilling resistance of the sample and serve as a reference for improving the fabric technology.

Hydrostatic Head Tester for Textile XD-B30
Product introduction:
Hydrostatic Head Tester is also named Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Machine. It can measure the water penetration resistance of fabrics under hydrostatic pressure by clamping the specimen on a standard test area. The hydrostatic test can include those kinds of fabrics, such as canvas, coated fabrics, cover cloth, rainproof clothing fabrics, geotextile materials, and films to water penetration under pressure while firmly clamped in the test rig of standard area. When you have a hydrostatic pressure testing machine, you can do a hydrostatic head test easily.
Working principle:
The resistance that water encounters through the fabric is expressed in terms of the hydrostatic pressure that the fabric is subjected to. Under standard atmospheric conditions, one side of the specimen is subjected to a continuously rising water pressure until water seeps in three places, and the pressure is recorded over time.
Features:
Accurate testing
Test results are highly consistent with international third-party testing institutions and receive positive feedback from customers in over 60 countries.
Servo motor control, stable operation, and longer life
Closed loop control with servo motor-driven piston for a unique water pressure rise rate balancing system. In addition, the booster system has dynamic feedback adjustments to prevent overload.
Multiple testing methods, more practical
Different test methods can be selected and test times and variable boost rates can be set and saved. There are three test methods, i.e. boost mode, constant voltage mode, and constant voltage timing mode, to meet various needs. By this method, you can make a hydrohead test.
Rapidly produce test results and output reports
